Policy

1. Data Security

• All data submitted through the App (such as Mural diagram URLs, diagram names, height, and width) is stored securely within the Atlassian ecosystem.

• No data is stored, processed, or transmitted outside of Jira or Atlassian infrastructure.

• The App does not collect or process personally identifiable information (PII) unless such information is explicitly included by the user within a Mural diagram link.

2. Content Restrictions

• The App allows users to display Mural diagram links provided by the user.

• The App does not modify, inject, or alter Mural content.

• Users are responsible for ensuring that only trusted and authorized Mural diagrams are linked.

• The Developer is not responsible for the content, availability, or security of third-party Mural diagrams.

3. Authentication & Permissions

• The App runs in the context of the currently authenticated Jira user.

• It fully adheres to Atlassian’s permission and security model.

• The App does not access, modify, or expose Jira data beyond what the user is explicitly authorized to view or edit.

4. Access Control

• Only Jira users with appropriate issue or dashboard permissions can view the configured Mural diagram.

• Only users with edit permissions can configure, update, or remove the diagram.

• Configuration options are available only in Edit mode, preventing unauthorized changes.

5. Security Best Practices

• Always use valid and secure Mural URLs.

• Ensure the linked Mural diagrams follow your organization’s internal security and access policies.

• Regularly review linked diagrams to ensure they remain relevant and accessible only to intended users.

6. Vulnerability Reporting

We welcome responsible disclosure of any potential security vulnerabilities.
