End User License Agreement (EULA)
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using Secure Vault for Jira (the "Software"), you agree to be bound by the terms of this End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Software.
2. License Grant
The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software within your Jira instance for internal business purposes only and in accordance with this EULA.
3. Restrictions
You may not:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
Modify, copy, distribute, rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or redistribute the Software.
Use the Software in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
Attempt to bypass or override access control mechanisms configured within the Software.
Use the Software to store or expose sensitive data without proper authorization.
4. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. The Developer retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights and related documentation.
5. Data Handling & Responsibility
All secret data entered into the Software is managed within the Atlassian (Jira) environment.
The Developer does not access, store, or transmit secret data outside of Atlassian infrastructure.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, sensitivity, and security of the data you configure.
6. Access Control Responsibility
The Software allows configuration of user-, group-, role-, and field-based access restrictions.
It is your responsibility to correctly configure users, groups, project roles, and fields to ensure proper access control.
Misconfiguration may result in unauthorized access, for which the Developer is not responsible.
7. Updates and Maintenance
The Developer may, but is not obligated to, provide updates, enhancements, or support for the Software. Continued use of the Software after updates constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind. The Developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, availability, or non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Software, including but not limited to unauthorized data access due to misconfiguration.
10. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must discontinue use and uninstall the Software from your Jira instance.
